The Artist

Richard Duguay nails the hard truths of life with a sound that’s been described as “The New York Dolls meets The Rolling Stones.” His new album Beautiful Decline harkens back to early Alice Cooper with story-telling panache, epically cinematic sonic assaults and flat-out rockers. His anti-hero character “Kid Stardust” guides the listener through catchy, melodic riffs that melt into psychedelic bridges leading to bursts of unexpected acoustic charm.

Duguay writes and records in his home studio in North Hollywood, CA where he created the 2019 concept album Bad JuJu featuring Dr. Silver, Death Defy and Way Back Home. Previous releases include Lead Us To TemptationGloriously Reckless and Big in Cleveland. Duguay appeared on Guns & Roses’ The Spaghetti Incident, featured on Johnny Thunders tune, You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory, and toured the globe with Duff McKagan. His roots run deep in the punk rock scene, starting his career playing with the legendary Personality Crisis
